Design at Twilio

As a Staff Product Designer at Twilio, my role is to craft experiences that make complex identity and access management tasks appear simple. It includes re-envisioning the login flows that every customer touches as well as account and user management flows that the admins of the Twilio Console interact with. Here are some examples of my work where I led the research and design end-to-end.

Role-based Access Control (RBAC)

Built role-based access control (RBAC) from scratch for Twilio products. 80% of post-release survey participants said they were “satisfied” or “extremely satisfied” with the new RBAC portal.

Console IAM Navigation

Re-designed the IAM navigation between accounts and subaccounts in the Twilio Console.

Single Sign-On (SSO)

Designed a self-service single sign on (SSO) experience for Twilio customers which resulted in SSO onboarding SLA to reduce from 10 days to 10 minutes.

Two-Factor Authentication

Redesigned the two-factor authentication (2FA) experience on the Twilio Console. Grew the 2FA adoption from 5% to 71% % on Twilio accounts in 6 months.

Organizations (Admin Center)

Led the design of a new product offering called Organizations which was wildly successful and resulted in 20K new organizations being created by customers in just 6 months of being Generally Available.
